It’s been almost 2 years now since I released Survival Island: Developer’s Cut and I’m happy to see that the game has been played more than 10,000 times on Kongregate!
Survival Island: Developer’s Cut is the first game I made and published using Unity 3.5 and even if this number can sound ridiculous compared to a lot of indie games out there, I’m actually thrilled that so many people enjoyed the game I’ve created !
Upon publishing I got some very nice words from Will Goldstone (author of the book the game is based on, and now a quite famous guy at UT), but unfortunately, my game was never featured on his website:
Anyway, even if some complain about it being too slow, too simple or too short, it is still the most played version of Survival Island on Kongregate. For that I must be grateful so thank you all dear players!
And you still haven’t played it, rush on to Kongregate and discover Survival Island : Developer’s Cut so I can blog on it when it reaches 100,000 plays 😉
